This was the first book that I read by this author in my teens and it really grabbed me. I read it over a winter break and enjoyed the short story. I enjoyed it enough to purchase on my kindle. I think I will always have a soft spot for this teen book in my adult life.

This book is cute and has its charms. A little bit silly, but a quick entertaining read. Don't expect a deep plot or anything other than silly juvenile thoughts.

When Kirsten's older sister Gretchen breaks her leg in a skiing accident she needs someone to move out to the city and help her take care of 3 year old son Brett for a while. And since Kirsten has already finished her senior year early, she volunteers to come and help out.But she also has another motive.After being dumped by her boyfriend at prom who'd thought he'd try things out with her best friend Emma, she's on a mission to find another boy. Preferably one that's cute and will come away with her and her friends for a weekend cabin trip. A trip that's become known as "Groundhog Gettaway".Kirsten quickly sets her sights on popular, hockey player Sean who seems to be perfect in every way. But every time they do something together his older brother Conor seems to show up just in time to mess things up.The book was light, funny, and romantic. A wonderful read to curl up by the fire to. And there's a great moral to the story too. It's definitely one I'll read again and again.

It was an awesome book and it had a lot of funny parts but at some point it become too predictable. Overall i loved the book.

Sweet title! Just a happy ending, which is a good thing. Family, sisters and brothers, nice for them to be brought closer.

quite cute for a novel about a coming-of-age girl. would be appropriate for a young reader more so than an adult
