Heather Ross is known for her natural aesthetic, inspired both by her West Coast upbringing and her time spent living and antiquing in Paris. Her artfully curated boutique has earned a loyal following since opening in Vancouver in 2001. A creative force-of-nature with a background in painting, printmaking, ceramics and textile design, Heather is also recognized for her work as a writer, stylist and photographer in many top lifestyle magazines, and her evocative artworks have been placed in numerous feature films and international collections. When not involved in her many creative projects, she enjoys cooking, gardening, beachcombing and treasure hunting. A true animal lover, she cares deeply about all creatures great and small. Love this book! The photos are beautiful & the design aesthetic is not over the top, but one that brings a lot of natural elements into the home. Heather's color palette is really lovely & her descriptions of them are enticing. I found myself saying "I love that also!" many times while browsing thru the book. I especially liked the section about creating little vignettes around the home.

I gave this book to my wife for her birthday and she LOVES it! She has taken many ideas from it already, and, even more, the book has shaped a new decorating approach for her. She has read it and consulted it many times, where other books and magazines have been a one and done type of thing.

In The Natural Eclectic, Heather Ross has woven together the concepts of her highly creative aesthetic philosophy in a most beautiful way. Her art, photography, styling, and writing are skillfully blended and presented to form a compelling and complete design statement. Very inspiring.

This is a gorgeous book. I purchased it as a gift and ended up buying one for myself.
