I liked all of the history and how to's of the book. I was disappointed in the recipes. There were so many things in there that I would never cook.

My Mother taught me to read cookbooks. I suspect this one was put together in a hurry to make money by the cut and paste method with NO proofreading. So here are the issues... NO pictures (I doubt the author tried ANY recipes), Roast potatoes under dessert heading, Pg 36/104 - same recipe (5 min vegan succotash) as with Pg 105/121 - (green chili chicken), Pg 85 - the word Saute' is before every ingredient, Pg 101 - what is 2 Tbsp of plus?, Pg 143 - rice pudding recipe, mixture of metric/american measurements (very confusing), She talks about how delicious the vegetable broth is, however, NO recipe for vegetable broth. Very few appealing recipes, even though the title says "Delicious recipes, easy to make" for example - (pulpo gallejo - cooked octopus with smoked paprika, in an instant pot no less).... I promptly returned the book and research instant pot tips and recipes on the internet, when needed....

I received the Kindle version and was highly disappointed. Multiple recipes were duplicates seen in other chapters, vegan recipes contained bacon, and roasted potatoes was listed as a dessert. The cookbook was clumsily organized.

I love cooking with Instant Pot, and a big reason is because of this book. The introduction includes a Tips and Tricks, which are life-saving when a beginner! I had no idea the Instant Pot makes yogurt, and the saute function is fantastic! I hardly use any other cooking utensils (pots/pans). The basic functions section is useful as well! Beef, pork, chicken, desserts, snacks. Everything! Love it!
